 Kandahar Lodge 3824 Big Mountain Road Whitefish, Montana United States 59937 The European-style Kandahar Lodge is located on Big Mountain, 40 miles west of Glacier National Park, and approximately 22 miles from Glacier International Airport. The 50-room lodge is a base camp for summer explorations of nearby Glacier National Park and in the middle of the action for winter snow sports. Day trips from Kandahar may include hiking, mountain biking, wildlife viewing, sightseeing, fishing, boating, swimming, a balloon flight, shopping, museums, theater, and excellent dining. Winter brings skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, horse-drawn sleigh rides, and dog-sled adventures.
